Alisa Bones (b. 1983) is based in New York. She received her BA from Reed College and her MFA from the Yale School of Art. Recent solo exhibitions include Fathers of Abstraction (S1, Portland: 2016) and Whore Island(Semantics, Cincinnati: 2016). Bones’ works have been presented in group exhibitions at Gallery Protocol (Gainesville: 2017), Abrons Art Center (New York: 2016), Green Gallery (Yale University, New Haven: 2016), Blackfish Gallery (Portland: 2013), and H. Klum Fine Art (Portland: 2013).
